William G. “Bill” Pomeroy is the founder and former owner of CXtec® and TERACAI®, two multi-million dollar technology companies based in Syracuse, NY.

Bill has received several entrepreneurial awards, including the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Entrepreneur of the Year, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and the Syracuse University Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year. Bill is also a past recipient of the Central New York Sales & Marketing Executives Crystal Ball Award, bestowed annually to a local businessperson for contributions to the sales and marketing profession.

Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania.

He is an active member of several local and national non-profit boards, including the Be The Match Foundation, New York Genealogical & Biographical Society and the Salvation Army. He is also a member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Lally School Advisory Council and a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society First Connection Volunteer. In 2006, Bill was honored to receive the annual Courage Award from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Central New York.

Alongside his charitable and community activities, Bill’s personal interests include amateur radio, travel and adventure, collecting coins, stamps, recorded music and mainframe computers and genealogy. He currently resides in Lafayette, NY with his wife Sandra.
