SUMMARY:Valley Forge Lafayette Trail Historical Marker Dedication
DESCRIPTION:Washington Memorial Chapel (either Father Thompson or Father Tim) will offer a blessing of the new Lafayette Trail historical marker during the unveiling ceremony following the completion of the Sunday religious service at 11:15 am. Remarks from all stakeholders involved in the preparation of this new Pomeroy Marker will then follow. The Reverend will speak on behalf of Washington Memorial Chapel. Julien Icher will bring greetings from The Lafayette Trail\, Inc. and share a commendation letter from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. A representative from Valley Forge National Historical Park (National Park Service) is expected to join us. Caroline Monvoisin\, Consul General of France in Washington\, D.C.\, will be representing the French Republic during this function and bring greetings on behalf of the Ambassador of France to the United States\, his Excellency Laurent Bili.
