Convention Days 2020
With the 100th anniversary of national women’s suffrage this summer, the William G. Pomeroy Foundation has partnered with the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites (NCWHS), which has developed and administers the National Votes for Women Trail.
The Trail is an online database that identifies thousands of points of interest integral to the suffrage movement. The Pomeroy Foundation’s contribution to this wonderful effort is to fund historic roadside markers which correspond to points on the trail. The markers commemorate historically significant people, places or things instrumental to the passing of the 19th Amendment. The Pomeroy Foundation will fund up to 250 historic markers across the United States.
