Women’s Suffrage Marker Webinar – May 9, 2019

Categories: History, Women's Suffrage

As we approach the centennial of the passing of the 19th Amendment in 2020, the William G. Pomeroy Foundation® is excited to support a national women’s suffrage marker program in collaboration with the National Votes for Women Trail (NVWT), a committee of the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites (NCWHS).

This webinar provides instructions to State Coordinators about the marker nomination process. It also includes information about using primary sources and promoting the program. This marker program commemorates the people, places and things instrumental to women gaining the right to vote in the U.S. Grants cover the entire cost of a marker, pole and shipping.
