Stanford Historical Society will host a marker dedication ceremony on Dec. 22 for Bear Market Cemetery, also known as Sutherland Cemetery. It is the burial place of Solomon Sutherland, a Revolutionary War veteran and NYS Senator. The marker for Bear Market is part of the NYS Historic Marker Grant Program.
