The Town of Homer will host a dedication ceremony for a new roadside marker commemorating the history of the community’s schools. The unveiling will take place beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 on the Homer Green. The ceremony coincides with the bicentennial of the first chartered school in Homer, N.Y.
