Frederick Douglass House NYS Historic Roadside Marker Dedication
A dedication ceremony for a new roadside marker commemorating noted abolitionist Frederick Douglass and his family’s home will be held on Friday, Feb. 14. The unveiling coincides with his 202nd birthday. The new marker is located at the last surviving home lived in by Douglass and his family in Rochester, N.Y.
