The Yaphank Historical Society will host a dedication for a plaque commemorating the Homan-Gerard House’s inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places. The ceremony will take place at the Homan-Gerard House and Mills beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
