North Carolina’s very first Legends & Lore marker will be unveiled on May 30 at Commerce Square Park in the City of Randleman. This marker commemorates the story of Naomi Wise, who is the subject of a well-known North Carolina ballad. The dedication ceremony begins at 10 a.m. and will take place at the park’s pavilion.
