Ruhle Road Bridge & Dunning St. Rural Cemetery National Register Marker Dedications
On Saturday, May 11, the Town of Malta will dedicate three markers, two of which are roadside markers funded through the Pomeroy Foundation’s National Register Signage Grant Program. One National Register marker commemorates the Ruhle Road Lenticular Metal Truss Bridge. The other pays tribute to the Dunning Street Rural Cemetery. The third sign is for the Zim Smith Trail. The dedications will begin at Shenantaha Creek Park where the Zim Smith Trail sign is located. The second dedication will take place at the bridge and the program will conclude at the cemetery. The bridge is located at Ruhle Road North, Malta, NY 12020. The cemetery is located at NY Route 67, Malta, NY 12020. Attendees should make arrangements for driving between marker locations.
