Located in Victor, New York, the early community of Valentown was established circa 1809. By 1840, New Hampshire native Ichabod Town moved to the area and built a small house, which still stands as of 2022. Later in 1879, Levi Valentine built Valentown Hall to serve as a shopping plaza and community center. In 1997 the Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places. As of 2022, the Hall serves as the Historic Valentown Museum and offers seasonal guided tours of the property.
