Pomeroy Markers tell stories, honor legacies, and strengthen the fabric of communities. They help preserve community history, promote pride of place, and create opportunities for residents and visitors alike to engage with and learn about the past.

The Burlington Heritage Trail in Washington state is one example of how communities are using grant-funded Pomeroy Markers through our Signature Programs as part of a broader effort to celebrate and share their local history. The trail highlights the impact of markers and the value of collaboration among local organizations, historians, volunteers, and community leaders.
