Bill is the founder and former owner of CXtec & TERACAI, two technology companies in Syracuse, New York. Bill has received Entrepreneur of the Year awards from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University, and Ernst & Young.

Bill is the founder and former owner of CXtec & TERACAI, two technology companies in Syracuse, New York. Bill has received Entrepreneur of the Year awards from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University and Ernst & Young. He is a recipient of the Central New York Sales & Marketing Executives Crystal Ball Award. Bill also received the Courage Award from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Central New York and is the recipient of the Crouse Health Foundation Tribute Award, along with his wife, Sandra.
Bill presently serves on the Board of the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society. He is a First Connection Volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and a Caring Connection Volunteer for BMT InfoNet. Bill is a former member of the Board and Executive Committee for the National Marrow Donor Program as well as the Onondaga Historical Association. Bill also served as a member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School Advisory Council. He is Trustee Emeritus for the Erie Canal Museum, The Salvation Army of Syracuse and the Be The Match® Foundation.
Bill earned his Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Alongside his charitable and community activities, Bill’s personal interests include amateur radio, travel and adventure, genealogy, collecting coins, stamps, recorded music and mainframe computers.

Sandra Pomeroy

Sandra is the former Senior Vice President of CXtec and TERACAI. Sandra is an active community member and serves as Vice Chair of the Crouse Health Foundation Board of Directors. Sandra is a First Connection Volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and a Caring Connection Volunteer with BMT InfoNet.

Sandra is an active community member and serves as Vice Chair of the Crouse Health Foundation Board of Directors. Sandra is a First Connection Volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and a Caring Connection Volunteer with BMT InfoNet. Sandra has served as the Honorary Co-chair of the Light the Night Walk for five consecutive years in Syracuse, NY. Sandra and her husband Bill were Honorary Co-Chairs of the Be the Match Foundation Gala held in September 2017 in Minneapolis, MN. In 2012, Sandra and Bill Pomeroy received the Star Crystal Award from the Crouse Health Foundation for their extraordinary efforts to improve the health and well-being of Central New Yorkers.
Sandra graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. She resides in Lafayette, NY, with her husband, Bill.

Deryn Pomeroy

The daughter of William G. Pomeroy, Deryn brings over 10 years of nonprofit experience to her multifaceted role within the Pomeroy Foundation. Presently, she serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives and is responsible for the national roll out of several key historical marker initiatives, including the Legends & Lore® Marker Grant Program and National Register Signage Grant Program.

The daughter of William G. Pomeroy, Deryn brings over 10 years of nonprofit experience to her multifaceted role within the Pomeroy Foundation. Presently, she serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives and is responsible for the national roll out of several key historical marker initiatives, including the Legends & Lore® Marker Grant Program and National Register Signage Grant Program.
Deryn’s career is highlighted by her accomplishments in the field of education. She served for six years as Assistant Director of Admissions at Syracuse University and presided on review committees for the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Whitman School of Management. Subsequently, Deryn accepted the offer of a two-year stint at The Common Application corporate headquarters in Arlington, V.A., outside of Washington, D.C.
Now, Deryn has returned to her roots and returned to her hometown community to maintain her commitment to giving back as a Trustee of the William G. Pomeroy Foundation.
Deryn earned a MS in Secondary Education with honors from Niagara University in Lewiston, N.Y. and a BA in Spanish Language & Literature from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is a proud board member of PBS affiliate WCNY and the Be The Match® Foundation. Be The Match manages the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world.

Paula Miller

Paula is the Executive Director and Trustee of The William G. Pomeroy Foundation. She is the former Director of the Office of the CEO at CXtec.

Paula is the Executive Director and Trustee of The William G. Pomeroy Foundation. She is the former Director of the Office of the CEO at CXtec.
Before joining CXtec, Paula was employed by the Gannett Foundation. The Foundation makes contributions to qualified nonprofit organizations to improve education, health, and advancement of people who live in Gannett communities.
Paula is a member of the Annual Support/Marketing Committee for The Salvation Army of the Syracuse area and is on the Crouse Hospital Auxiliary Board. In addition, she is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse Class of 2000, was the recipient of the 2002 Business Partnership Leader of the Year Award from Partners in Education in Business, and was honored in 2007 with a Woman in Business Award. In 2009 Paula was awarded a ‘Can Do’ Award from The Salvation Army for demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to helping serve people in need. In January 2009, The William G. Pomeroy Foundation received a Spirit of Caring Award from The United Way of Central New York for providing Bone Marrow Drives to the CNY community.
