Lafayette Trail Historical Marker Dedication

A special dedication ceremony will be held for a Lafayette Trail historical marker at the Reformed Church of Staten Island as part of a Bicentennial Celebration of General Lafayette’s famous visit. Staten Island was the first stop on Lafayette’s 1824-25 U.S. Farewell Tour. The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. on Aug. 15, 2024. Visit our interactive map to read the marker inscription.
