Can I apply for a marker commemorating my home or commercial business?
National Register cannot be awarded for privately owned or commercially used properties. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) organizations, nonprofit academic institutions, and local, state and federal government entities within the United States. Only sites owned by the entities listed here are eligible for National Register signage.
