WILLIAM G. POMEROY FOUNDATION

Revolutionary War veterans Thomas Robinson and Giles Case built their homes here in the early 1800s. This area was later renamed Howlett Hill in 1835 in order to honor early resident Parley Howlett. Today, Robinson and Case’s early homes still stand. While the area of Howlett Hill is now the Town of Onondaga, a local road, Howlett Hill Road, still bears his name.
