WILLIAM G. POMEROY FOUNDATION 2020

In 1909 Albert G. Dow Jr. funded the establishment of a private library in this building in honor of his late father Albert G. Dow, Sr., who passed away the previous year. Initially named the Dow Private Library, its collection began with 1,417 books. The building included a large reading room and lecture hall. In 1917 it was given by Dow to the Village of Randolph and renamed the Albert G. Dow Free Library.

As of 2021, it was home to the Randolph Historical Society and local food bank, Randolph Community Cupboard.
