Referred to as the “foremost woman architect in the United States” by contemporary newspapers, Fay Kellogg (1871-1918) was a summer resident of Greenlawn, NY. In 1911, Kellogg designed the bungalow at 22 Boulevard Avenue in Greenlawn for use as a post office. In addition to her work as an architect, she was a proponent of women’s suffrage and equality.
