The Goff and Spencer Survey of 1814 was created by Potter Goff and Silas Spencer for the town of De Kalb in the southwest part of St. Lawrence County, New York. It enumerated the town into lots and included details on existing buildings and land resources. The survey labeled this area the Blink Bonny, from a Scots phrase conveying the beauty of the land. The area is believed to have been named by some of the first settlers of the town.
