Fort George NYS Historical Marker Dedication

A dedication ceremony for a historical marker commemorating Fort George and Carleton’s Raid of 1780 will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023. The unveiling and a tour led by historian Pat Niles of sites in Lake George Battlefield Park relating to the raid will begin at 1 p.m. Visit our interactive map to read the marker inscription.
