Dedication Ceremony for Three Historic Markers in Marion, NY

The Marion Historic Association will dedicate three historic roadside markers on Friday, April 24. One will be at the public library, which is the former school and grange hall; another will be at the Town Hall, which was previously home to the fire department and library; and the third will commemorate the former home of Dr. Allen Steele Russell, who was a Civil War surgeon, doctor/pharmacist, and NYS assemblyman. The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the Marion Public Library.
