The earliest recorded burial in Cadiz Cemetery is that of Abigail Curtis in 1837. She was the wife of Solomon Curtis, who was a veteran of the War of 1812. Other War of 1812 veterans buried in this cemetery include Isaac Searl and Ten Eyck Lowe. Elisha Cline, Jr., and Edward Hayden. Also interred here are veterans of the Civil War. Jahel Peck and Nathan Washburn served during the Revolutionary War.
