Tuestin Village, also known as Ten Mile River, was a 19th century hamlet comprised of homes, business, mills and a lumber industry and blue stone quarry. The proximity to the river and rail was utilized as  lumber was rafted down the Delaware River. Bluestone was quarried and transported via the Erie Railroad.
